On June 6th a new addition to my PureNeemo family arrived. She is the first of the "older" generation girls that I have, and she is my first opened preowned doll. She was made in 2008, so she is 6 years old. She is from the Ex☆Cute girls (schoolgirl line). She comes in her school uniform, since she is the 1.1 version she comes with a bow instead of a tie. Now lets have a look at our girl.
Ex☆Cute Himeno Ver. 1.1
I got her on Amiami preowned. She had the score B+/B for 8,980 jpy. I have to say that she looks good and I can not see any damage on her. She comes with this adorable school uniform. The jacket can be taken off and she has a long armed pink shirt underneath. She jacket is a bit hard to get on again and using some pincers is recommended in order to get the shirt sleeves to stick out. I wish there was a button so I could close the jacket, but its not all that important.
When I first saw her I noticed a white line on her eye. After closer inspections I thought it was a scratch, and this made me quite annoyed. As she was a B+ figure she should have no noticeable damage. I was so ready to complain to Amiami. But then the next day while I was taking photos of her I noticed that the scratch suddenly moved. Then with a gentle blow of air the scratch flew away. So it turned out o just be a piece of really thin fabric that was stuck to the eye. So this was a huge relief since that scratch was quite noticeable and not all that pretty.
I also noticed that her hair was quite brittle. Just gently brushing it made some hair fall off. So I will take a bit extra care of this in the future when I handle her. She also seemed to have some product in her side bangs, with some gentle brushing I was able to loosen the hair.
The detail on the clothes are great, it all comes off and closes with buttons. The clothes feels real and are just like human clothes just in miniature. I don't see much of a difference in the detail form the newer girls when it comes to clothes. I love the little detail they add to everything they make.
The socks and shoes are super cute. I like that they have this little school emblem on the socks. The socks are really tights and needs a bit of work to get them on.
She also comes with a school bag. It can be opened so you can store you school things and lunch in here. You can see the little Azone label inside the bag. Azone marks all their clothes with this little tag, just like real clothes. I think its really cute.
Her box was graded B and I can't really see any damage to the box. There was no sealing on the box so It was obvious that she has been "played with". She is held in the box with some rubber straps. She doesn't come in a blister like new girls. But the rubber bands held her firmly in place, though her heir showed that she had been tossed around quite a bit. The box itself is quite simple and clean. I like it.
What really surprised me about this girl is that she comes with two PureNeemo Advance bodies. This made me really happy as they are now hard to find. The body she comes in has seamless feet and arms. So her knees and elbows can't move. She also comes with a sitting body. The bodies can be combined to create the look you want. I will be playing around with this in the future.
That it for this review. I hope you like it and that I get my point out there. This is my first review and I'm still in the process of figuring out how to write these reviews. So I hope over time I will improve and find my style. I would have liked to have a few more detailed shots of her clothes and her face. I will take this into account the next time I take pictures for a review.

I know >w< Its not the best.
DeleteIf I'm gonna take pictures of just one girl and I want her sitting or standing I'll use these legs ^w^ The seamless looks a lot better then the joints. But I don't mind the joint as much anymore as I have gotten used to them.
